TRACK Technologies introduces the new Blu Eye 2, the next-generation safety system for drivers. Like the original version of the unique Blu Eye, the new Blu Eye 2 alerts you to approaching emergency vehicles, whether or not they are using lights and sirens. But now it’s even better. By utilizing the specific signals transmitted by the government’s Airwave communication system, Blu Eye detects all nearby marked and unmarked police vehicles, ambulances, and fire trucks. As a driver, this allows you to react quickly; Blu Eye often spots emergency vehicles before they see you and alerts you with both audible and visual warnings. This Dutch innovation not only improves road safety for all users, a key priority for European authorities, but also helps you stay extra alert, for example if you are driving too fast. By providing timely alerts, Blu Eye gives you an extra set of eyes both ahead and behind you, completely legally.

Target Blu eye

Blu Eye was the first and only system in the world to legally alert drivers to approaching emergency services via the Tetra/Airwave network. The system came with an external LCD display and laid the foundation for the further development of Blu Eye technology.

Only suitable for fixed installation.
One display option available: external LED display.

Blu Eye 2 is built on a more powerful platform than its predecessor, offering increased stability, speed, and accuracy. The system is available with a highly informative LCD screen or subtle LEDs integrated into the rear-view mirror, depending on your preference.

Blu Eye 2 features a much more powerful platform than its predecessor. The system not only picks up the 200 low TETRA/Airwave channels like the first generation of Blu Eye, but can now also receive 600 high TETRA/Airwave channels that have recently been introduced across the EU.

TWO DIFFERENT DISPLAYS

With Blu Eye 2, it is now possible to choose between two different displays. TRACK Technologies has specially developed an LED display for the interior mirror. In addition, a 2.4-inch LCD screen is available that can be mounted in or on the dashboard.

SIMULTANEOUS DISPLAY OF UP TO THREE EMERGENCY SERVICES

Both displays now show up to three emergency services at the same time. This is useful when you think the merging ambulance on the highway is the cause of your alert, but a quick glance at your display reveals there is yet another emergency vehicle nearby. Because a warned driver counts for three.
